Ambering is a verb. It is a process, a dialogue, a distillation, an act of preservation. Ambering is a translation and the beading of a narrative necklace: a conversation synthesizing between two voices. Ambering is an ongoing and evolving collaboration between Chanelle Allesandre and Katie Addada Shlon. Ambering began in North Carolina as an improvised, sound-based experiment performed live with various electronic and acoustic instrumentation, voice, and spoken word.
